Aim:

This course aims to increase your awareness and understanding of the nature and impact of Domestic Violence.

The course will look at:

Nature and prevalence of Domestic Violence
Power and control dynamics
Impact on adult victims and children
Barriers to leaving
Myths and stereotypes
Responding to disclosure
Culture and diversity
Signposting and referral

Time:

9.30 am to 4.30 pm
