Domestic Violence Awareness 2010/11

Aim:

This course aims to increase your awareness and understanding of the nature and impact of Domestic Violence.

 

The course will look at:

  • Nature and prevalence of Domestic Violence
  • Power and control dynamics
  • Impact on adult victims and children
  • Barriers to leaving
  • Myths and stereotypes
  • Responding to disclosure
  • Culture and diversity
  • Signposting and referral


Time:

9.30 am to 4.30 pm
