Join us to say no to anti-social behaviour

Crime is tackled most effectively when local people work together with the police, local authority and other criminal justice agencies. This is why Safe Newcastle are encouraging Newcastle residents and community groups to join us to become Community Crime Fighters.

Community Crime Fighters are members of the public who are actively involved in their communities and want to do or know more to make their communities safer.

Who should become a Community Crime Fighter?

  • residents and tenants groups
  • Neighbourhood Watch Co-ordinators
  • voluntary and community groups
  • community activists and volunteers
  • residents who want to play their part in making their communties safer

Becoming a Community Crime Fighter does not change your status or give you any special powers but allows you to get more involved and have your say on how crime is tackled in your area.
