Public information campaigns, communications and community engagement

This area of our work aims to inform families, communities, organisations and businesses about drugs and drug related work and involve them in it.
- We provide information and training about drugs; about how to reduce the harm caused by drugs; and, about our local work.
- We help people have their say about local drug issues so that we can work with them to make improvements.
- We provide information about the work we are doing to address the concerns people have raised.
- We help groups of people carry out their own work around drugs, if they wish.
- We provide opportunities for people to volunteer to work within drug services.
- We work to improve policies in organisations and businesses so they can deal with drug use amongst staff and drug related incidents around their premises.
We are looking into how we can expand and improve this type of work, especially amongst communities most affected by drug use and dealing.
